I survived my first week back at work after returning from maternity leave and all I can say is 1 week down and 20 weeks to go until I reach my long service leave!
Having a baby and working full time I am finding it difficult to fit in a solid work out so I am making the most of the stairs and let me tell you there are stairs everywhere. When I catch the train I don't take the escalator I climb the stairs and at work I take the stairs instead of the lift.
The amount of exercise appears small but every bit helps in fitness and reducing body fat.
Do you take the stairs where possible?

Great reminder Anne... since the new year, I have been taking the lift instead of the stairs. Note to self - change this from Monday!

ReplyDeleteTaking the stairs everywhere you go is a smart way to workout a bit when you don't have time. I also park far away from the store or destination so I have to walk further and carry stuff on the way back.
